Cherry Jam

Can't resist myself to make another fresh fruit batch of Jam, I'm in love with homemade jam making, they are so easy peasy to make and superb way to storing the fresh fruits😍😍. While I'm making my whole home smells exotic, it's wholesome, simple, easy and effortless homemade all-natural cherry jam is ready in about 30 minutes. Look at the colour, an't it looks beautiful ❣️❣️.

Ingredients :-

 Sl. no Item Quantity
 1 Fresh Cherry 400 gm
 2 Sugar 200 gm
 3 Lemon Juice 3 tbsp

Method :-
  • Wash and clean the cherries. Then remove the seeds using  a toothpick, paper clip or a hair pin; insert into the stem end of the cherry. You should feel it hit the pit. Now, twist the tool around the pit and pop it out.
  • Crush the cherries and simmer gently  cooked it for few minutes.
  • When cherries turn soft, add sugar, lemon juice and keep mashing and stirring for 30 minutes frequently until it becomes  thick and glossy. 
  • Spoon a little of the jam onto a chilled plate . Leave for 1 min, press a fingertip into the jam. If it starts the wrinkle, it’s ready. If not then simmer it for more few minutes .
  • Store it in clean dry glass jar and enjoy this with Bread, Roti, Chapati or Paratha.
  • (Note:- You can also keep the jam in the fridge for 3 to 6 months.)
