Palak Paneer


Palak paneer , it's a  most loved dish of Indian cuisine.from kid to grown-up everyone enjoys this dish.if your little don't like palak/spinach,then try this dish,I swear he/she will love this..So basically it's a creamy spinach gravy with Indian cottage cheese.it has many ways to make, very easy n healthy.In this recipe,i haven't blanched the spinach but shallow fry it .it taste completely different from the blanched one,in good way.serve it with roti,rice, paratha or naan.
Ingredients:-
250 grams paneer/Indian cottage cheese
1 bunch of palak/ spinach
5-6 Almonds
2 tbsp oil
1 onion
1 tomato
1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp of garamasala
Salt as per your taste
Dry spices:-
1 tsp of jeera or cumin seeds
1 green cardamon
1 inch cinnamon
1 Bayleaves/ tejpatta
2 cloves
Method:-
Heat oil  in a pan..add all the dry spices n onions.fry it for few seconds.then add  almonds n tomato.Again fry it for few seconds. Then add salt , haldi powder, redchilly powder, garam masala.fry it for 3 to 4 min. Then add spinach into it.dont overcook it but ensure  the raw smell has gone away. Cool this Mixture completely.after that blend it into a smooth ok puree.Then take another pan, fry the paneer in 1 tsp of oil for 5-6 minutes.then pour this puree into this. Add little bit of water.mix well n simmer it for 5-6 minutes.switchoff the heat. Serve it
