Kanda poha


One of my favorite breakfast recipe because it's quick n easy to make..and also very very tasty..

Ingredients:-
2 cup thick poha/thick white beaten/flattened rice
½ cup chopped onion
¼ cup Peanuts
½ tomato( chopped)
2-3 chopped Green Chili
4-5 curry leaves
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp cumin seeds
Pinch of hing/asafetida
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
½ Lemon Juice
chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsps oil
1 tsp sugar (Optional)
Instructions:-
Wash and drain the poha and add salt, lemon juice, sugar, turmeric powder and mix well and keep aside.

Heat the oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, when seed crackled, add pinch of hing, curry leaves, green chili and saute for few second.

Now add onion, peanuts and stir fry them till golden brown on medium flame.add tomato and stir it until tomatoes becomes soft. Then add the poha into this and mix well.

Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well, cover it for few minutes on low flame.

Switch off the flame, kanda poha is ready to serve .
