Roasted cumin n drychilli Powder



Jeera Lanka gunda/ roasted cumin n chilly Powder, used abundantly in authentic odiya cuisine and an essential masala in every odia's kitchen. A dash of this masala do wonders for satvik dishes and also add amazing falvours to variety of chat dishes. No Dalma or No Dahivada is complete without this masala . Usually I make it in bulk and store it. So here is the recipe.

Ingredients:-
2 cup Dry Cumin Seeds
1 cup Dry Red Chilli

Method:-
Dry roast both of them separately since they both have different roasting times.Since you are roasting chillis, be very careful not to overcook. And dry grind it.

Let them cool down and then dry-grind them .Enjoy garnishing this with your choice of chat or any other dish .
