Mushroom pulao

 
The simple and tasty one pot mushroom pulao recipe 🤗
Ingredients:-
  Mushrooms- 200 gms
  Basmati rice / Any everyday rice-2 cups
  Onions -1 large (sliced)
  Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
  Green chilis- 3, slit
  Fresh mint leaves- 1/4 cup packed
  Fresh coriander leaves -1/4 cup packed
  Curd- 1/4 cup
  Salt- as per taste
  Turmeric powder- ½tsp
  Water- 3½ cups
  Cloves- 3
  Green cardamom- 2
  Black cardamom- 1(optional)
  Cinnamon -1" stick
  Shahjeera -1/2 tsp
  Nutmeg powder- 1/4 tsp(optional)
  Star anise -1(optional)
  Bay leaf- 1
  Oil -2 tbsps
  Ghee -2 tbsps
Method:-
1.Cleaned the mushrooms ,washed them and sliced. Soaked the rice for 20/30 minutes.
2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add all the whole spices and stir for a few seconds. 
3.Add the sliced onions and slit green chilis and saute for few mins. Add the ginger-garlic paste & turmeric powder and saute for few mins till the raw smell disappears.
4.Add the coriander and mint leaves and saute for  mins. Add the sliced mushroom and cook for few  mins.then add the curd into this & Saute it .
5.Add the drained basmati rice and mix well.Add water, before place the lid ,add the ghee and pressure cook up to 2 whistles on medium flame. Turn off heat.
6.Once the pressure has eased, remove the lid and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.Serve warm with raita .
