Chennapoda

Chennapoda......Made up of homemade cottage cheese and blended with ghee and sugar and a pinch of cardamom  then baked in slow flame untill  it turns brown..wait wait wait,do I really need a caption for this...nahi na.. 
Let's enjoy the divinity of this humble dessert and here's the recipe .

Ingredients :-
Full cream milk- 3 litre 
Rava/suji- 4 tbsp
Ghee- 2 tbsp
Sugar - ½cup sugar
Dry fruits (cashew,raisins )-2 tbsp(optional)
Green cardamom- 6/7
Baking powder- ½ tsp
Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
Method:-
1.Boil the milk in a large vessel .
2.When the milk boiled add lemon juice into this  and stir continuously till the milk  starts curdles .
3.add more lemon juice if needed .
4.drain the curdles milk (chenna) and squeeze off the water completely.
5.In a large bowl take the Chenna  and mashed it . 
6.Then add the sugar ,ghee ,baking powder and suji into this and mashed it till becomes a watery texture
7. Add little bit milk (1/2 tbsp ) ,if required for the watery texture .
8.Leave it for few minutes ,approximately 15/20 min.
9. Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius for 10 minutes.
10. Grease the mould and place a butter paper into the mould.
11. Now add the dry fruits and again mix it properly.
12.Transfer the chenna poda mixer into the mould and tap it .
13.Now bake it for 40-45 minutes  at 180 degree celsius .
14. After the chenna poda is cooled completely, scrape from sides and cut into pieces and enjoy .🤗

    1. Yes,just a put one kadai,spread some salt n put one rack over there then simply put the mould and cover it and cook it for almost 50-55 minutes.hope this helpful to u.
