Posto bara

Posto/ poppy seeds is  commonly used in Odia and Bengali cuisine  ,we use posto bata/paste in various recipes . One among them is this posto bara . Most of the poppy seeds based recipes are eaten with steamed  rice  n daal  ,that is like match made in heaven. 
Ingredients :-
Poppy Seeds/posto - 100gm
Rice flour-2 tbsp
Onion -2 (chopped)
Green Chillies.-3/4 chopped f
Garlic -10/12 pods
Cumin seeds- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
Spring onions- 1/2 cup(optional) 
Salt - as per taste
Oil - for shallow frying

Method:-
1.Soak the Poppy Seeds for atleast one hour.
2.Grind the Poppy Seeds,garlic ,cumin seeds n green chillies to a make  fine thick paste.
3.Add all the ingredients with the Poppy Seed paste and mix well.
4.Heat oil for shallow frying. Add the prepared mixture  in round shapes to the hot oil
5.Cook one side untill  it turns crispy and browns, then turn it to upside down so that the other side can also cook.
6.Serve hot with steamed rice n plain daal.
