Chuda bhaja


Chuda fry / Chuda bhaja is always one of my healthiest option for evening snacks..less oil ,guilty free and super tasty ..

Ingredients:-
Chuda/ Flattened rice/ Poha– 3 cup
Potato – 1
Onion large – 1
Peanut – 1/4 cup
Ginger/Mango ginger(Chopped) – 1 inch
Green chili (Chopped) – 2
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves – 20
Oil – 2 tbs
Namkeens (anything of yours choice)
Salt to taste

Method: -
Heat a pan or kadhai.

Put chuda (poha) and fry it on high to medium flame.

Peel, wash and chop the potato and onion cut it into slices.Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, green chili, let it crackle.

Add onion and fry it for 2 minutes on medium flame add peanut, fry some time. Add chopped mango ginger / ginger and saute it.

Add potato , curry leaves, salt and mix it and cover it with lid and cook it for 1-2 minutes on low flame.

Take out the lid and check it if the potato is soft. Then add fried beaten rice and stir fry for some time. Switch off the flame, add namkeens . Then serve it hot with tea.

*You may also add thin coconut slices.

*you can also make these roasted plain chuda in bulk and store it in jar for almost one month,then use it whenever you have mood for  this  chuda fry .
